The New Machine

As the title implies I have joined the new machine theme group. the big question now is how to take what is a simplistic folie and turn it into a modern-day machine without losing the quality's that defined the folie. My original design was about two things, not interrupting movement(as the site is a strong thoroughfare) and creating new perspectives of the site (ill upload an image of my project that displays how). At the moment I'm thinking about maintaining my original, not disrupting movement quality by designing a building/space that people can freely move through but at the same time gives them a different perspective of either the path they travel or the site. I think a gallery or market typology would suit this as both these typologies allow for movement yet they both allow for people to stop or slow their pace, which I think works. as for different perspectives I have some ideas up my sleeve but don't want to pen them out until such time as I have defined my building typology. Now how to make a new machine whilst staying true to my folie and my love of functionalistic architecture. How would Albert Speer do this?
